DeRozan teasing another guest from Drew League, White Heads Overseas, Rebounding Duo, and Bulls Bulls

His girlfriend and I decided this might be our last chance to catch some sun this summer. So if you need me, I’ll buy a six-pack and get a midwest tan near the lake.

Don’t decide to do anything worth the news today, Bulls!

  • DeMar DeRozan dropped some news late at night on Friday!
  • The Bulls’ All-Star will be hitting the Drew League again this afternoon with a special guest. Unless he gets in with Michael Jordan, I find it hard to believe that the guy would be able to top His appearance with LeBron James Two weeks back. But, nevertheless, it’s great that he continues to bring in some friends, and I have to wonder if one of his current Bulls teammates could walk through the door this time.
  • We know that the majority of the Bulls have been spending time lately LA District Volunteer Group Training. I have to imagine that at least a couple would be willing to wear a Pro-Am match, especially a youngster like Patrick Williams and Ayo Dosunmu. Only time will prove!
  • Speaking of youth, the Pacers star guard announced that he will face the Drew League court tomorrow:
  • The Chicago Bulls goalkeeper made his way to Australia to participate in the newest Basketball Without Borders camp in Asia. According to Spencer Davis on BasketballNews.com and the NBA Australia account on Instagram, White will be joined by the Cavs’ Garrett Allen, Cameron Johnson of the Suns and Josh Green of the Mavs. White has been a close friend of Johnson, in particular, since their days at UNU (the famous “Wow, brother” was in the draft in reference to Johnson), so I have to imagine this would make this opportunity even more special.
  • In fact, as it turns out for Wyatt’s first few seasons in the NBA, he still appears to be a great locker room guy. Many of his teammates praised his goofy personality, while Billy Donovan gushes about his work ethic. He’d be a great guide and a great role model!
  • So about the bounce issues…
  • If Patrick Williams can’t make a bigger impact on the glass while he’s next to either of these, sometimes there can still be a problem. But there’s no doubt that duo Nikola Vucevic and Andre Drummond will clean up some rebound issues. We should see more consistent production in this section when the Vucevic is off the ground, especially on the offending glass, which has been a major problem.
  • Seriously, while Drummond may have his shortcomings, few players have been as dominant as him in reclaiming basketball. I also like knowing that if Vucevic needs to get through the night we shouldn’t see too much of a drop in this category with Drummond in the starting lineup.
  • ICYMI: Scottie Pippen didn’t come up with words when sharing his thoughts on the current Bulls team.
  • Do you think any of Goran Dragic tried to slip the “no-show Derek Rose label” clause into his contract?
  • Hey, this sounds like good news!
